We collect as little as possible, and only the things that let us write back to you or know what's worth writing more of. No selling, no tracking, no third-party retargeting.
[01]What we collect
*Letters you send us** — when you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email, the inquiry type you selected, and the message. Optional fields (company, scope) only if you fill them in
*Emails you give us for the newsletter** — only the address itself. We don't ask for names or other details
*Anonymous visit analytics** — we count page visits, where in the world they came from at country-level, and the URL someone arrived from. No cookies are set. No fingerprints. We can't see who you are or build a profile
[02]Who sees it
*Letters** go to a single inbox at mar@bymahmoud.com, read by Mahmoud directly. We use **Resend** to deliver the email — they hold the message only long enough to route it
*Newsletter addresses** are stored at **Resend** (the same provider). We use them only to send the newsletter you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time from any newsletter footer link
*Anonymous analytics** are aggregated by **Plausible** (Germany-hosted, GDPR-friendly, ISO 27001) and **Vercel Analytics**. Neither stores personal data

o third-party advertising trackers
o cross-site retargeting pixels (Facebook, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight, etc.)
o selling, renting, or trading of email addresses. Ever
o automated decisions about you. A human reads every letter
[04]Your rights
*See what we have on you** — reply to any of our emails and ask. We'll send back everything in 7 days
*Delete it** — same channel, same response time. We'll confirm in writing once it's done
*Move it** — we can export your data as a JSON file if you want to take it elsewhere
